  3. Lets go to school people. On the 42 foot house shot; the Polaris was a beast on the backend but on the 41 foot Melbourne; it went more forward and seemed to lack some continuation. Why is that?

    1. You can consider a few things. First of course any ball will hook on a house shot where there’s plenty of friction. However on a sports or Pba pattern, the ball will do certain things depending on how long or short the pattern is, where the oil is and other important things. Also the type of synthetic or wood lanes the ball is being thrown on. Then that will let you know if possibly the layout and surface on the ball at times might need to be twerked on different patterns. Then lastly topography is a major factor to consider when looking at and talking about bowling because every lane will never play the same.

    2. @Cameron Morgan While I agree with what all you just mentioned; his ball review of the Polaris Hybrid was at the same center and the difference in oil length was 1 foot. Plus, those lane beds have only been in that center for a couple weeks. So they are not broken in yet.
