I had the opportunity to throw it and I too was surprised by how much backend movement it had.
The ball machine is trying to put down invisible pins for you guys.
So I’m assuming this is supposed to be the direct competition to the motive venom shock?
So with that said, how do you compare the two?
So this has been an argument for the last few weeks. The Rattler name had been around since the early 2000s with brunswick. The logo was a snake then too. The bonus and Intel have the same color scheme as this ball, and came out before the venom shock.
And I’m sure they’re were balls with snake logos that were blue before that.
As for comparing the two, the core numbers are very similar. Performance wise the Rattler looks like it might have a touch more motion. It also has dynamicore, so it will have better hitting power.
Will you be doing a review of the Innovator? I know you were fans of Mo.

So this is probably a weird comparison, but for a benchmark ball, how would you say this ball compares to a hyroad? I am a big fan of Radical and almost exclusively use them, but I also know the hyroad is one of the greatest balls of all time. I need to have a symmetrical benchmark ball to round out my arsenal. Thanks for the advice!
Not weird at all! The hyroad is higher rg and higher diff. That means the core doesn’t want to spin up as early as the Rattler, but will have more flare.
The hyroad also had a hybrid cover, so it will be cleaner through the front.
It’s more of a late hook / burn ball with the shine on it.
I’ve thrown this ball for three games already. It reminds me off the venom shock quite a bit on the Rattler to me is cleaner.
